Game Audio

We provide game-ready audio services across music, sound design, voice editing, and post. This includes:
– Adaptive background music (looping, layering, stingers)
– Sound effects (ambience, UI, foley, transitions)
– VO cleanup (de-noise, EQ, timing/pacing)
– Implementation-aware exports (FMOD/Wwise-ready stems, loop-safe files)
We're not audio programmers, but we can work directly inside FMOD or Wwise — creating audio events, transitions, and systems that feel immersive and emotionally responsive. Echo Veil Origin

Echo Veil is the space between silence and intention.
A studio shaped not just by sound, but by the weight left behind when it fades.
It was built for those who care how a moment feels before it’s ever heard. The name came quietly — like a memory, or a thought you never voiced.Every sound leaves an echo. Every echo hides something deeper.
And behind that veil is where the work begins.
Echo Veil is guided by two voices: one precise, one instinctive.
One sculpts the edges of clarity. The other listens for what the silence leaves behind.
Together, they shape the sound. This studio isn’t a brand. It’s a method — a way of making your sound stay with people, long after the music ends.

The Artists

Two Voices, One Veil

Chris Yee – Technical Director
CYGIL

Chris is the hand behind the structure — deliberate, methodical, and clear. He approaches every mix and master with discipline and care, ensuring that each frequency has purpose, and every moment serves the whole. If Echo Veil has a backbone, it’s him.

The precision behind the presence

Jay Remody – Creative Director
Jemody

Jay is the breath between the notes — intuitive, emotive, and untethered. He leads the emotional thread through every piece, drawing resonance from silence and memory alike. If Echo Veil has a pulse, it’s him.

Why Mastering Matters

What Mastering Actually Is

Mastering is the final conversation your music has with the world. It’s where technical integrity meets emotional preservation — a final shaping of tone, dynamics, and depth. It’s not about making things louder. It’s about making sure your song translates, breathes, and holds up — whether it’s being played in headphones, on a festival stage, or anywhere in between.

Why Mastering Your Track Is Still Essential

Even the most pristine mix won’t sound its best without mastering.
Mastering ensures:
- Cohesiveness across an album or project
- Format compatibility for streaming, CD, vinyl, and more
- Polish and balance that holds up in the real world
- Emotional preservation — your intent, unblurred

Why It’s My Flagship

"Mastering is where my hands are steadiest and my ears are sharpest. It’s where I listen hardest — not just to the track, but to the intent behind it."
- CYGIL

Mastering is where I’m most aligned — the space where instinct, clarity, and purpose converge. It’s the quietest part of the process, but it’s where I listen the hardest. Every decision serves the story. It’s also where I connect most to what you’re trying to say — because I get one shot to make it last.I don’t master to fix a mix. I master to help a message land.

My Approach

- I don’t rely on presets or one-size-fits-all chains
- I trust my ears — not reference tracks or meters — to guide every decision
- I preserve your mix’s soul — no unnecessary compression, no over-EQ
- I always include multiple final formats (hi-res, CD, streaming)
- Every choice I make is in service of your message — clear, honest, and emotionally true

What You’ll Receive

You’ll receive:- A WAV in the original mix’s format
- CD-ready (44.1kHz/16-bit)
- Streaming-ready (44.1kHz/24-bit)
Optional: vinyl/CD-specific premasters or loudness targets
(If you’re not sure what this is, you likely don’t need it — but feel free to ask.)
If something needs fixing in the mix, I’ll always tell you. I’d rather delay a job than master something that’s not ready

Not sure if your track is ready for mastering? Or curious what I’d bring to the table?I offer demo masters for new clients — just a glimpse, not the whole mirror.Demo masters include:• A short, processed section of your track (usually 60–90 seconds)
• Delivered in MP3
• No revisions or alternate versions — just a taste of what a final master could sound like
If it resonates with you, we’ll take the next step.

If you’re ready to take your track across the finish line, I’d be honored to help.

Mixing Tiers

Built to Match Your Music

“Mixing is where I give shape to feeling — clean enough to carry weight, deliberate enough to stay honest.”

What is a reference master?

A reference master is a quick, clean preview of how your mix will sound at competitive volume — useful for testing and comparison. It’s not a final master. It’s there to help you hear your track in context, whether you’re sharing with collaborators, uploading demos, or preparing for full mastering. And if your mastering engineer can beat it? You chose the right one.Curious what a full master actually involves? Learn more about my mastering approach.

If your song has something to say, I’ll make sure it’s heard.

Composition

Music That Breathes, Builds, and Belongs

"The right notes don’t just fit the melody. They echo something deeper."
- Jemody

If a picture is worth a thousand words, a theme is worth a thousand memories.Whether you need something cinematic, something intimate, or something quietly haunting, I write to fill the space between silence and story. My music doesn’t just sit in the background—it lingers.Every piece is composed to support what matters most: emotion, presence, and identity.

What I offer

- Background Music / LoopsSeamless, layered music for games, streams, and ambient storytelling.

- Cinematic Cues & Story ThemesShort themes, motifs, and transitions for trailers, films, and in-game cutscenes.

- Full Original SongsFrom soft flourishes to dramatic swells—for characters, lore, or entire worlds.

- Custom SoundtracksVocal or instrumental tracks for artists, projects, or releases.

My Palette

My writing pulls from electronic, orchestral, and metal roots — but it’s always led by feel. From J-rock and J-pop to cinematic and hybrid styles, I’ve grown comfortable working across genres that demand both energy and emotion. If it stirs something in you, I’m already listening. From subtle textures to driving rhythms, I compose with an ear for emotional weight and sonic depth.

How I work

- I welcome briefs, moodboards, lore dumps, or open-ended prompts
- You tell me how much direction you want—I can lead, or follow your lead
- 1–2 revisions are included depending on complexity
- Deliverables in WAV or MP3. Stems optional by request.
- Most short compositions are completed in 7–10 calender days
Music is a conversation. You don’t have to say much—just enough to start the spark.

Whether it’s for a scene, a soul, or a story still forming, I’ll write the resonance.

You Found Me.

Most people won’t end up here.
But you did — and that probably says something about you.
So let me be honest with you:
Echo Veil Audio is a solo endeavor. Everything you see — the mixes, the design, the writing, the vision — is crafted by one person.
Not out of necessity, but by design. This isn’t a factory. It’s a studio built on care, intention, and clarity. I don’t rush. I don’t template. I listen. Every artist who works with me gets more than a service — they get someone who’s as invested as they are.I operate under two names: CYGIL and Jay Remody (or just Jemody). You might see both show up now and then. Different moods. Different roles. But the same core: a deep respect for the craft and the people behind it.If you haven’t told anyone else yet, maybe… keep the bit running.
Let them wonder.
If that resonates with you — welcome.
You’ve already proven you're the kind of person I like working with.
